Fall Fashion FAIL

image.jpeg

They made some pretty decent fall themed outfits last year, but these are just HIDEOUS, oh my gosh.

Also they won’t get rid of that wheel that’s been sitting there for nearly three months now.

Hopefully we get some New Pop stuff soon, and the winners of the #PoptropicaArt contest will be announced on Monday, according to Shaky Skunk. (FINALLY)

But…

Okay I’m officially scared. If we get more terrible costumes like today…

I don’t even wanna think about it.

Blog Jog: The Poptropica Fandom!

Hey Poptropicacti, welcome to the Poptropica Community Marathon, you’re here just in time! The race is just beginning to find some amazing Pop blogs on this lovely jog of ours. Why waste any more time with these awkward intros when we should get going?

Ready…

Set…

GO! POKEMON GO! I PLAY POKEMON GO EVERYDAY!

The first blog to be featured in Blog Jog is The Poptropica Fandom! (https://thepoptropicafandom.wordpress.com)

image

It’s run by Bony Fox and Short Dolphin, and let’s just say, this blog is awesome and totally deserving of the first Blog Jog post. Even though it was only made on August 15th of this year, and yet there aren’t too many posts at the moment, the existing ones are very creative, detailed, and unique, three things that are a must for me. No ad posts here, hehe. They even have an art gallery. You know my profile pic? Well, that was drawn by Short Dolphin!

To wrap things up, The Poptropica Fandom has a lot of potential, so that’s why I ask that you give it a read, it’ll be worth it. Trust me, there is a reason this post was so short, I want you to explore the blogs I feature for yourself, not just reading a summary.

And now a new question lingers: which fan site will be next? Stayed tuned for the next Blog Jog post, so we can continue the race we’ve started.

Spectacular Sunday Surprises: Doodle Requests Round 1

blog3

The first round of doodles have been finished, PoptropiCacti. Let’s see who the lucky commenters are, shall we?

image

Thanks for commenting Purple Claw and Popular Wolf, here are your doodles! image

image

However, since there were only two comments on the announcement post, and I want to draw three people per post, I just decided to do a little doodle of myself, cause why not?

image

If you want to request some art and you have a WordPress account, I strongly recommend that you comment done below on this post. If you don’t have WordPress, then you could always ask me on Discord, but the thing about Discord is that messages can get lost very easily. That’s why I prefer actual comments.

As for why the pics aren’t colored in, you’ll find out in just a few weeks, oh you’ll see.

I’ll see you all next Sunday for some more artistic fun!

Pop’s 9th Birthday “Review”

Let’s just say, compared to last year, this year’s annual birthday celebration was…

TERRIBLE 😦

First of all, it is a week late. Second of all, it is boring. And third of all, it’s main theme is CATS, because of that whole “nine lives” phrase or something.

But I hate cats. Sorry cat lovers and Creators, I prefer dogs.

Add the traditional birthday balloon and a cake hat (with a cat on it) and you got yourself one amazing birthday celebration to remember!

Final Rating: 0.9/9

Look, I’m sorry if I’m being so negative right now, I’m just kinda mad about the whole cat thing just because I dislike the animal, not game. And even though most previous birthdays were a hat and balloon too, last year’s was this huge event with an Early Poptropica world champions map and cute 8-pixel pigs and throwing cakes and unique and fun stuff that it made this year’s look worse than it even is.

Creators, I understand if you’re busy with New Pop, but that’s no excuse to do such a lazy job on the CURRENT Pop’s birthday of all things.

Then again, I have very high hopes for Pop’s 10th birthday next year…

PS- I kinda rushed on this post, don’t judge.

PPS- If you’re reading this, Creators, I’m sorry.

Jogging to Find the Best Blogs

Hey PoptropiCacti, TC here with another…blog update post. Bleh.

No no, don’t go! You see, not only will this be pretty short and the last one of these posts for a while, but I have something totally awesome to announce!

Introducing…

Blog Jog!

Join Tall Cactus as she runs through the community finding great blogs to feature on TCPB!

Every couple weeks, as there isn’t gonna be a set schedule, I will be featuring a Poptropica blog that deserves more readers! I think it’s very important that smaller, newer blogs get a great start, the ones I will feature have some excellent posts that people need to read. In fact, I’m planning to do the first one next week. Not telling what it is though, I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

To be honest, it seems like a lot of blogs are severely underrated nowadays. Many have been dying. We need to change this, and I think this series will be a good start.

By the way, I won’t end up doing the 4th week of Throwback Thursdays, becauss 2016 is still going on and predicting the future isn’t really a throwback to the past…sorry. And Theory Thursdays is still only coming back on October 6th. Yeah, still gotta write me some theories and stuff. As I said before, sorry. Man, I apologize too much, sorry…UGH!

That’s all for now, and I’ll see you in ze next post. I’m hoping that it’s a post about Pop’s 9th birthday celebration, if the Creators actually post about it, that is.

Ok, I’ll stop complaining about that now, bye!

Spectacular Sunday Surprises: Read the post and you’ll see…

blog3

Welcome back to SSS, Poptropicaci. This week, I have something extra special to announce…

TC’s first ever ART REQUESTS!

Even though I’m not the best artist ever, actually I have quite a lot of room for improvement, I’m trying anyway. And since I’m not allowed to have a dA account, I’ll just post my art on my blog! It’s all good.

So, leave a comment below with either a pic of your Poptropican or your Pop username, and my doodle masterpiece of it should be posted next Sunday or the weeks after.

Bye bye, I seriously need better closings…

The Future of TCPB

Hey guys, I’m here with another update. This one, however, may just be the most important one yet. I should have done this post closer to the new year, but I just felt that it would be better to do it sooner than later.

As you all know, school has started for me. And New Pop will be coming out soon. By soon I mean a couple months, of course.

This means that I’ll mainly just be doing Throwback/Theory Thursdays and Sunday Surprises for a while, along with random posts like this and any other unplanned posts. I know it’s boring, but I don’t know what else to do at the moment.

Back to New Pop. This blog will still exist when it releases, and will be basically the same except for a few minor details, such as a new, updated header.

“But what if the New Pop is terrible and everyone losses interest and quits?!”

I doubt that will happen. We shouldn’t judge it until it actually comes out. And even if it does suck, I won’t be going anywhere for a while. I just love blogging too much to quit. Heck, I hope to stay for the entirety of 2017 if possible! No promises, though.

And to start 2017, there will be a month long celebration in January for the one year anniversary of TCPB’s existence. There will be contests, parties, and so, so much more, it’s gonna be great. Just wait and see. 😉

Some other things to look forward to in 2017…

  • Monthly parties!
  • The return of the Costume Contests!
  • Art! And lots of it!
  • A ton of New Pop posts and/or series! (Like Expections VS Realities, reviews, theories, and more…)
  • Along with some Current-soon-to-be-Old-Pop posts maybe.

But most importantly…

Pop TV: Secret of the Medallions will officially begin sometime this winter!

Yeah, unlike the Pilot Episodes and Totem Curse, this is the real thing and it will not be cancelled unless I quit. The wait will be worth it, I promise, as it will be written better, have an even more interesting story, and best of all, will not have to get ruined by New Pop, since it’s coming out after it, leaving plenty of time for revisions before I begin posting it.

About how often new episodes will come out once it begins, I’m not sure right now. It’ll either be once a week or twice a week, depends on how busy I turn out to be. There will still be 3 seasons as originally planned, as I mentioned before.

So yeah, 2017 is gonna be an amazing and exciting year for both TCPB and Poptropica! If you’re still worried, who knows, maybe Era 2 Pop will be better than Era 1, the Creators surprise us.

Don’t be surprised if I started calling New Pop Era 2 and Current/Old Pop Era 1, I’m kinda a huge Steven Universe fan, lol.

Anyways, the months leading up to 2017 are going to be tough, but we will get through it! Just remember: even if the Era 2 Pop stinks, I will try to make the most of it.

I’ll see you in a couple days for the final week of Throwback Thursdays, which just so happens to be mainly about 2016 and beyond.

Diary of the Outcast: COMING SOON

Hey Poptropicacti, I’m here with some very exciting news!

If you haven’t already heard, I’m guest starring in one of Perfect Sky’s movies. I would be surprised if you never heard of her, she’s this amazing YouTube who makes some really awesome Pop videos, she even won Community Appreciation in the Poppies this July. Here’s the link to her channel: https://m.youtube.com/user/PoptropicaPerfectSky

Anyways, as I was saying before, I’ll be guest starring in her upcoming movie, Diary of the Outcast. I even helped write it! The trailer just released today, I would suggest you watch that to build up some hype.

I’m not going to be explaining the plot in this post, as you can get a glimpse of what is to come above. Trust me, the movie is gonna be much better than the trailer.

The full movie will be releasing on her channel in the next week, two weeks at a maximum. We were hoping to get it out earlier but school has started. Don’t worry, it’ll be out sooner than you think.

Be sure sure to check either this blog, PS’s channel, or Discord to know right when Diary of the Outcast takes on the world! I’m super excited, and I hope you are too.
