The Last Goodbye

If you read the title of this post and immediately thought I’m quitting, you are correct.

Look, I’m sorry but I can’t do this any longer. While I’m still somewhat obsessed with Pop, I’m losing interest in blogging about it. It’s not that fun anymore, it’s stressful, even upsetting at times. I was going to wait until Worlds comes out to break the news, but I feel as if it is best to do it now.

Over the past few days, I realized something. Now, this may be really upsetting to some, but I need to be honest and tell you this. I didn’t quit blogging when I first began losing interest, which was at least a month or so ago, because I continued to want to be a PHB author. I felt like I never got the appreciation or attention I deserved in the Pop community, while the authors seemed to get all of it. So, I began to want to become an author myself. And when that wasn’t happening, I began to believe that if I took that power away from the authors, by supposedly making the community more fair, I would then get more attention then now. I know, it was selfish, I understand now. And that’s why I must quit, so I can move on. I hope you’ll forgive me.

It’s alright if you’re sad, I am a little myself. But just remember that you’ll feel better soon, and, since I’m not quitting Discord yet, you’ll still be able to talk to me. Also, I won’t be deleting TCPB, I’ll just stop posting, so you can always come back to read all 375 of my previous posts. And while there is a small chance that I may return one day, I honestly don’t think that will happen. You never know, though, so stayed tuned I guess.

Before I end this post, I just want to thank each and every one of you for reading TCPB. Without you, the year-and-three-months of this blog’s existence wouldn’t have been nearly as awesome. And to my fellow bloggers, I ask that you continue blogging and sharing your true ideas and opinions with the community. Don’t be afraid to have a voice.

  2. Gotta Catch Ya Later! Home Is Where The Start Is! Memories Are Made Of Bliss! Best Wishes Until We Meet (the blog) Again! Every name of Pokémon episodes when there’s an end to the region, excluding Kalos, because that’s not very fitting. Anyway, this blog has had a great run.

  3. Goodbye TCPB. 😥 This blog inspired me to create my own, and I’ll really miss your posts. You’ve made so many good posts and series that used to made my day a lot better. I’m glad you’re not leaving Discord, because you’re a really good friend. I’m literally crying right now, but at least you made a successful blog that I, personally, adore. You’ll always have a place in my heart. Best of luck. ❤

    • I’ll probably do a PHB guest post with a review. But remember, there still is a chance I may return one day, although the likelihood of that happening is pretty small. Thank you for enjoying my blog, and I’m sorry.

  7. You have been the best blogging friend I have made. You’ve stuck with me when the rest of the MPB left. I’ve honestly been thinking about quitting blogging too, because there’s nothing to blog about. But as long as I can shamelessly ship Zactus, I’ll be okay. I’m gonna send you the full Wolff’s Bane series on Discord if you decide not to read it from the blog :’)
I know I’m not the most active person, or the best author, but thank you so much for putting up with me. You are an amazing human and I wish you the best :>
P.S. You better still keep in touch okay bye

  10. To be honest, I think it was the right time. I mean Pop has actually been dying lately. Like, it’s just -sighs-. Pop isn’t interesting anymore. When I first found out about it in the 3rd grade I played it constantly everyday after school. Finishing island after island. But now, I rarely come back. It just doesn’t have that same feel to it anymore and the updates are useless. Like the movie theater was a disappointment in my opinion. And the islands aren’t action packed as they used to be. And Worlds won’t have that same feel either. Pop will probably gone before you know it. But I think you made the right decision Cactus. Pop was dying and people just started moving on to more things. Your blog was an amazing one. You had awesome blog posts that I just couldn’t stop reading! Your blog will be missed.
